Rural Aid organises a Mega Farm Rescue in a big way to a bunch of farmers. There are renovators, tradies, grey nomads and other volunteers who’ll commit to painting, plumbing, building, fencing, mechanical work or other on farm activities to bring some joy and mental relief to farmers doing it tough in this drought.
Mega Farm Rescue 2019:
This year Rural Aid’s Mega Farm Rescue is going to be held at Lightning Ridge in the month of August. We are excited about the year mega farm rescue. It’s going to be a great with groups of volunteering, meeting new friends, connecting with rural communities, making a difference in the lives of people who are struggling with the drought and other rural related challengers. Mega Farm Rescue 2018:
During the week of October 14 to 20th 2018, Rural Aid’s Farm Rescue program launched a Mega Farm Rescue over a number of properties at one time in the Forbes district of NSW. The farmers are doing it tough and with the support of the local community, Rural Aid committed to make that week a Mega week of bringing hope and joy to the lives of some very worthy farmers.
Over 185 volunteers have been registered and confirmed for the week long Mega Rescue of 14 Farms in the Forbes district …. thanks to the support of major sponsors’ Nova and Bendigo Bank.
