We are 12 Days away from the start of the first Farm Rescue for the year at Kyabram. We are delighted that you have put your hand up to help out. We have a great week planned.
As you will know we are looking at doing some Community Projects, and assisting on Farms and schools with our Gift of Music Programme
Lee and Rosey 2 of our Veteran Farm Rescue helpers have been in Kyabram this week finalising the scoping and purchasing materials so that we will be ready to hit the ground running on the Monday Morning. We will be putting the teams together when we have a Telephone conference with them tomorrow… so stay tuned for the projects and teams.
A couple of things to let you know about:
- You will be staying at the Kyabram Showgrounds, Allan Street Kyabram. More detailed info will be sent to you with site map etc. Most of our meals will be prepared and served at the Showground kitchen. Lunches will be eaten onsite in most cases.
- Please arrive by Sunday the 17th March with enough time to be set up for Registration and Meet & Greet at 4pm.
- If you have not sent us your Police Check please we need to have it sooner than later please. It is a mandatory requirement for all volunteers joining us on a rescue.
- Have you had your tetanus shot yet?
We will be sending you another email on Friday with more details and a suggested list what to bring with you. Tradies, Lee will be in touch with you regarding tool requirements.
Please don’t hesitate to contact myself or Julia if you have any questions. firstname.lastname@example.org
If for any reason you are not able to join us please let us know ASAP
